This calendar will hopefully be beneficial to enhancing community involvement and socialization of our beloved animals. Entries Close with the Show Secretary at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 7, 2008, after which time entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted, except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules.
Wins at Sanctioned Matches Carry No American Kennel Club Championship Points. Professional handlers may only show dogs that they own or co-own.

The Great Dane Club of Oklahoma will have a Raffle table set up at these shows so any doggy items (all breeds and sizes), along with stuff for humans are welcomed!
Donated items will be accepted by any Great Dane Club of Oklahoma Member!
Please bring any and all items you would like to donate for the raffle with you to the match.

Dog agility is a sport in which a dog moves through an obstacle course with the guidance of his handler. Dogs run off leash, so the handler's only controls are voice and body language, requiring exceptional obedience training of the animal.
FREESTYLE DOGS OF OKLAHOMA Canine Freestyle is a choreographed performance with music, demonstrating the close bond between dog and handler. Graceful and intricate maneuvers are performed with precision and artistry and are achieved through the subtle use of verbal cues and body language. In Freestyle the performance of every team is different, accompanied by different music and demonstrating the individual strengths and talents of each dog. Freestyle is also an excellent discipline to illustrate the conformation and movement of the dog. The reach, drive and beauty of an athletic, trained dog moving to music can take one’s breath away.
