This
is the BEST book on the market for anyone interested in or considering a
Great Dane for their family. Jill's insight helps you make the decision to
commit to a living, breathing Dane or to buy a stuffed animal
. I
recommend this to everyone who contacts me asking if a Great Dane is right
for them or those needing more information on our breed.
This book is no longer in print
and becoming increasingly harder to find. Jill has been kind enough

The Winning Edge : Dog Show Secrets
Author - George G. Alston,Connie Vanacore
An
experienced professional dog handler, Alston offers tips on showing in
either conformation or obedience rings. His advice on canine health,
training, etiquette, and ring preparation is sound, helpful, and very
concise. While much of this information is covered in other books,
Alston's handbook provides quick reference and some new ideas; his frank
discussions of campaigning and the psychology of showing also help make

handling. Not really for beginners.
