The Royal Sooner Danes & Borzoi website includes information regarding Royal Sooner Danes & Borzoi.  Here you will find information about us as ethical conscientious show breeders & exhibitors, our Great Danes, Borzoi and much more.  We are both Great Dane & Borzoi enthusiasts and have been active in every aspect of promoting, protecting and enhancing the breed's welfare in this community.   Locally,  we have both  have been involved in  AKC/UKC/Int'l Conformation, Obedience Classes; Owner Handling/Showing; Rescue; Public Education Projects; Ring Stewarding "B" Matches; Conformation Trainers; National Specialties; Handling/Conformation Classes; Fund Raising and caring for our Danes & Borzoi.  We feel that showing is a way of maintaining the standard of the breed.  Both Frank and I (Brenda)  hope this website will benefit the Great Dane & Borzoi ; and those who cherish and love these majestic breeds.  A majority of items listed on this site will be geared towards the Oklahoma Dane & Borzoi fancier.  A vision of ours, through rigorous and innovative research, is that of educating and effectively influencing the general publics knowledge span of the Great Dane & Borzoi breed, health issues, rescues & ethical breeding practices.  Interacting, exhibiting in conformation and learning from our own animals has accomplish these endeavors.  The majority of those involved with Great Danes & Borzoi whether ethical Breeders or reputable Rescuers are committed to high standards of care and education.  We feel education is the key to reducing the number of Great Danes & Borzoi that are abandoned and cycled into animal shelters and rescues.
